Data protection

Our site uses cookies. A cookie is a small data file with text saved in your browser. There are two types of cookies, permanent and temporary (“session cookies”). Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your computer or mobile until you or the server that sent them erases them. Session cookies are temporarily stored and disappear when you close your browser.

How we use cookies

We use cookies to provide you with better service. Some cookies are used to gather statistics about the number of visitors to the site while others are used to retrieve information about which operating system and browser visitors use. The cookies allow us to analyze how our sites are used, which pages are visited and what the visitor is searching for. This information enables us to develop and optimize our websites.

Some features use something called “session ID”.  To enable this a server sends a session cookie with a unique ID number to your computer each time you visit the site.

Session cookies are used for the time you are active on the site. Without it, for example, you could not leave and later return the shopping dialog without having to fill in all the information again. A “session cookie” is only temporarily saved in your computer’s work memory and is automatically removed when you close your browser.

If you do not want to allow the use of cookies

A common misconception about cookies is that it is a kind of virus and that cookies can detect personal information from a computer or that cookies are available to send spam. Nothing of this is true, cookies are just data.

Most browsers are set to allow cookies to be stored. If you do not want to allow cookies, you can either set your browser to get a warning every time a website wants to place a cookie on your computer or completely turn off cookies. For information on how to do this, see the browser’s help function. If you choose to turn off cookies, our website will not work as well as you expect.
